Celebrate Time Together
Where will you be for the holidays?
I was thinking about how I love purposeful gatherings and celebrations so in anticipation of joyful times ahead, I wove a new collection of table runners to share with you!
A Time to Gather
Online Exhibit
In Person Exhibit at Studio Channel Islands
2222 E. Ventura Blvd., Camarillo, CA
October 1 – February 1, 2021
Set the Table
These artistic centerpieces will be the talk of your table and heaven knows, we all need a beautiful conversation starter!
Enjoy color when you pair your table runner with simple plates, timeless flatware and thin stemware to make this handwoven centerpiece look elegant, or with handmade pottery for that farm-to-table feel. Finish with bold napkins to give your table a pop of color.
And More
Functional art and table runners are so versatile but when you’re not using them on the table, try drapping it over an open door, a chair, or at the foot of the bed — anywhere you want to add color and warmth.
No matter how you celebrate or where you gather, I hope these runners will add joy and conversation to your celebrations. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed weaving them for you and keep them for generations to come!

A Tapestry Commission that Inspired and Challenged Me
Working on a custom piece is great fun but this design really put me to the test! This 40″ x 52″ wall tapestry was inspired by a very small tapestry I had in the studio. Sunshine, a 10″ x 12″ wedge weave that had since found a home with another collector. Joanna Burke of Joanna Burke Art Consultants, Inc., was choosing artworks for a new medical facility and asked if I could use a similar design and colors to weave a new, large wall tapestry to be installed. Timing was tight but I was up for the challenge.

Art, weaving and fiber are my favorite subjects to learn about so naturally I gravitate to books – art, craft and photography books – coffee table books and informational books.
My husband and fellow artist, Scott, recently gave me Couples in Art, a depiction of love through the ages culled from the collection of one of the world’s most famous museums for Valentine’s Day! Some artworks we love and have seen in person and many we didn’t know existed. It’s on the coffee table now and I’ll be flipping through it for a while.
